Farewell our dear Brother Dax
October 23, 2010 -
Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi ra’jion.
Yes… too soon, Brod Dax has left us. Our lives will be empty in places that his energy once filled. His death was one that demands notice…. A life that exemplified kindness…. A life that illustrated the Golden Rule…. A life that inspired emulation…. A life that burned so that others’ paths were lighted. He was living proof of just how fine a person can be. He has provided an example of what one determined, talented, caring individual can do for mankind.
Yes, he has left a void that we cannot fill. We resolve to cherish his memory.
Brod Dax: May you rest in peace, Inshallah. My prayers are with you and your family. We will remember you and pray for you as you’ve remembered and prayed for us in our times of need. We wish you farewell our dear brother not as just another APO member, but as a brother who has earned a permanent place in our hearts.
To his bereaved family: We want you to know that we will miss him, too. Our hearts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. Know that death is only the side of life that we can’t see from earth’s shores.
